+1

get a SmarTop to have remote access for the top. It may be the easiest way to put the baby in & out of the back seat. This is how i get my golf bag in/out when i take the 911. Congrats, BTW

Hulk, what car seats fit well in the 997 for the 3 and 5 year olds? I have a 4 and a 5 and want to start taking them for rides in the Pcar this spring. Just have to lay down the rules about kicking the front seatbacks

Also, Hulk how tall are you? I'm 6 foot and couldn't fit a toothpick behind my seat much less a child's legs. That has got to be a snug fit!

I'm 5' 11" and in a proper driving position there is plenty of room for a kids legs.

I'm 6'2" and there's a bit of room. I do have to sit a bit closer to the steering wheel, but I have no problem driving still.

I have these for my boys:

http://us.diono.com/convertible-to-booster/radianrxt

They are the narrowest you'll find. I have them sitting on a towel and tethered to the child seat anchor, which you'll have to cut the top box behind the bose system,.

*** This is how I use them for a non-cabriolet. If I had a cab, I would just buy the posche OME ones. There isn't the rear child seat anchor, so I would rather something fit perfectly, which the OEM ones do.

Also note, I removed the seat backs...that gave me a good 3" more room for the kids. The car seat leans nicely against the angle of the back. Otherwise, the seat will be completely upright which is terrible if they try to sleep.
