A) do it. If they found metal in the filter I would not drive it at all. That means something is wrong.

I am not driving it at all...I left it at the INDY shop and got a ride home. Yes I know lol....I really need to drive it more . Last year I swapped out the front bumper and put on a turbo front nose with LED day time running lights..Car is perfect now

2800? LOL, thats funny because I have them on my facebook ... I messaged them and asked them how much would the RMS and IMS replacement be for my car .. He told me $3500 ... guess you got them on a good day I knew this was high, and considering I live about 2 hrs from them .. I said forget it

I think legend porsche on LI quoted me 3,500 hose much never did it.

Here is my suggestion. Why don't you go get a aftermarket warranty for 4 years ( about $4000 ), since you are paiding $2800 anyway.

I'm headed out of town so can't get the breakdown for you but I paid $2800 for the clutch and IMS together. I'm in FL and you are in NY so you may need someone closer to comment on reasonable prices up there. Good luck.

Min job would be 100 oil change 650 bearing and 10-14 hours labor at x/ hour in your area. I would go to the person who has done the most bearings, not necessarily the cheapest. Labor is shared so might as well go the clutch.

imo this is good advice.

but i do think clutch + ims fix should be 2800, not just the ims fix alone.
