Corrective detail

Thanks to this forum I found a world class restorative detail shop here in the East Bay.

I bought this 2010 Black Cab S (first P-car) several months ago and it was in terrible shape.

Check out the before and after shots here:

Bob did a phenomenal job and I'm incredibly pleased with the results. Looks better in person - lol

Now I feel better about how much I paid for the car

Gorgeous! Looks showroom new. FYI I used to live not more than 3 miles from there. Now across the Bay in San Mateo but may have to go visit that guy some time.

Make sure you find a really good shop and research their work. I am getting a minor correction and complete clear bra on the front (full fenders and hood) and its roughly 2300

Thanks for the compliments - Bob is the best.

Pricing is geared toward the number of hours required, which depends on how bad your car is (mine was horrible) and what you want done.

I had the convertible top re-treated, 5 dents fixed, and an exterior restorative detail. Interior detail would have added $200 I think.

The time spent/work done should have been > $2k. Bob is a stand-up guy so when the shtf with my car, he stuck to his quote.

The only downside is he's got a 2-3 month waiting list - and it's tough to stop staring at your car when done. I think I visited her in my garage a half dozen times this weekend.

Not right now - the front bumper was poorly resprayed so will have it repainted before a bra

Very nice restoration! If the mechanicals are in shape, you can really find a diamond in the rough. All 911s are worth saving! I've always considered myself a steward of ownership with my cars. They will be worth passing on to my kids or a worthy enthusiast.

I love seeing threads like this. It makes me realize that my car really is brand new in the garage for a couple g's. . . I do my best not to have to spend the money (I am fanatical about the exterior and even more so the damn interior) but it's nice to know that the option is there if necessary!
