GTS vs S differences

Besides power and aesthetics, are there any other differences between a 997.2 S and GTS? Suspension and steering feel the same?

I believe the GTS come with the SPASM suspension which is an available option on the C2S.

Your GTS will be one of about 6,747 built, if that is important to you. Not real rare but rarer than others.

The extra maintenance requirements for center locks are just for track use.

X51 option is the best of both worlds. GTS engine in a narrow body, 5 lug wheels.

Just curious why you think narrow body is better? I've always preferred wide body. My preferences go turbo, GTS, C4S, CS.

I agree. I think the majority of Porsche owners prefer the looks of the wide body. Nothing wrong with the narrow body and I have had a few, but I think the wider rear of the wide body looks nicer.

Center locks were standard but Carrera sport wheels were a no cost option. Also came standard with sport exhaust.

Wide body is about 1.5" per side on the rear hips.
And stock tyres are 305's vs 295's

I once thoughts WB is a MUST have, nah...NB is as sexy, and less maintenance which is the key.

Why is NB less maintenance than wide body?

Wb and nb of course are both nice. Wb is preference of many. I for one prefer the nb. The original 911 had a nb. Slim sleek yet still sexy. I guess its like women some prefer voluptous, wb, some prefer slim and sexy,nb. One thing for sure we love women, oops excuse me, porsches.
