wondering...is it me...don't think so...

ok, riddle me this, my clutch seems to catch a bit high and short, if that makes sense, well it catches maybe at halfway point, but then it is quickly fully engaged and is hard to do smoothly, from standing start and also changing gears it is hard to keep it smooth,,, i have been driving since i was 6, many many moons, and many cars and trucks and tractors and and anyway, my previous 997S shifted like a dream...what could it be... i had the clutch bled a few months ago, no change...could it be that i need a new clutch? 26000km's, i look forward to rectification, it is a constant drag on my head, man...thanks in advance for any and all help, kk

yes I would say the clutch is going out.

the clutch did seem to engage weird and not smoothly when it was about to be done.

it did that before it stated to completely slip at WOT.

The link above speaks to clutch hydraulics system and parts replacement. Might offer some additional insight into corrective issues relating to cutch behavior.
