all righty, detailing my car, and under driver seat this guy is hanging there. Found a small capacitor broken off board, now of course driver's seat power is gone, meaning i can't adjust it....

Checked fuse, E3 and E4, they are fine....Passenger seat works fine. Anyone know if this board is indeed the culprit and how to best get a new one or???

If there's a capacitor broken off of the board as you say, then it's definitely not going to be working. Looks like you're missing the control unit housing too, since that should be a black box, not a bare board. It's probably 99761853707, but we'd need the model info or VIN to be certain.

 

thanks ecs, you are right, i found pics online eventually. can't figure out why it wasn't in black box, had engine replaced last fall, but can't imagine that service had anything to do with it...
