Codes 8034 & 8035: Angle sensor calibration front & rear

Using my Durametric cable, I scanned for codes. From the Front Body Module, I found the following codes:
8034 : Angle sensor calibration front
8035 : Angle sensor calibration rear

I'm unable to clear these codes.

Does anyone know what they refer to? I thought maybe it referred to the Steering Angle Sensor, but I tried the calibration process for re-calibrating it, with no success.

If it is related to the Steering Angle Sensor, has anyone had luck re-calibrating with a Durametric? What procedure did you use, and what results did you observe?

FWIW i've had the steering angle fault before and have done the "calibrating" (he says with a chuckle). i doubt it's doing anything other than trying to give the user peace of mind. i track my car and never had a problem even with the fault present.

if you dont have any issues/symptoms, ignore it.

The only issue I might have is this strange buzz/vibration when I back out of my driveway. I used to think it was due to the wheels rubbing the inner fender liner or something, but I think I've ruled that out. I'm wondering if it's the PSM mis-detecting wheel slip and kicking in ABS, since I'm backing, plus turning, plus transitioning from incline to level road. I'd be interested to find out if it still does that with properly calibrated sensors.

Also... I'm not a big fan of the "if you don't have any symptoms, ignore the fault" approach.

*10 year bump*.

Running into this on my 911TT. Executed wheel calibration with PIWIS 3... but these faults just don't clear.

I've checked the live values from the steering angle sensor and they seem fine (wheel center is 0.0, turn it left the numbers go up, turn it right they go negative)....

Are these errors perhaps related to another sensor?

Car isn't throwing any PSM faults but I would like to get these cleared.
