I just found and bought a low mileage (7K) 2008 997 S with the navigation option. Does anyone have experience in setting the current location function? Every time I get in to drive it the location on the map shows me at a different location within about ten miles of where I am actually at. I followed the directions in the PCM manual to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

 

You may want to check the antenna for a loose cable. It's located under the window cowl (the long black plastic thing your wipers are attached to).

 

Thank you for the response 911cv. I will poke around in there and see if there appears to be any loose connections.
