Your first post implied you had PSE - if so, you should have a button for it.

I think he meant he likes the sound of the higher revs in sport mode.

Gundo or Fister should give you similar results to PSE for far less $$. Do a few searches. Mass amount of info out there.

Mattyf and a few others have mentioned the gundo hack. Would doing this 1. Cause a failed smog test? 2. Void factory and or extended warranty?

No, to all the above. We're in the same neighborhood, I have this set up with a SW center bypass..you're welcome to check it out.

My car is under warranty and I have had excellent service at Porsche Fremont with zero issues regarding these mods.

He's got a manual, so the rpm is purely dependent on when he changes gear. The only real difference for a manual is the more sensitive throttle pedal and harder rev limit.

I have a non S with Sport mode and an EVOMSit tune. It is essentially like driving it in Sport mode all the time now. Watching people valet it can be entertaining sometimes, not so entertaining at others

If you have the sport exhaust and sport chrono, there is only one button to activate them both (on the .1 models at least). Also I find the sport button to be mostly useless with that non-linear throttle response.

Very cool ! I would definitely like to hear it in person. Let me know/pm me if you are in the San Jose area.

On the .2 models there are separate buttons for PASM, PSE, and Sport if your car is so equipped.
