I agree, I would be keeping this. I'm not keen on buying cars I like and selling them. I drive them for pure enjoyment.
I agree with you that the Mezger design is a robust design, and a stock Turbo will be worth more than a modified C2S, everything else being equal. However, my philosophy in buying and owning cars is that the car is not an investment, but rather a product to enjoy and tinker with to your heart's content. When you look at it that way, then it's value is priceless.
