Read that these iptions were here but not activated. Just need to buy the codes and get these things activated. Do any of our brothers know specifically what options these are?
I'm not aware of any...sounds like you have heard of some - which ones did you read about?
It'd be cool if there are but I've never heard of any. Porsche engineers do an excellent job of making sure all of the options require something extra. The phone module in the PCM is a great example - they put the sim card slot in every car but it's useless if you didn't check that box for the phone module.

What year is your car? This makes a big difference.
For example....
1) Auto door locks - If you don't have sport Chrono, you can't set this. If you set it with Durametric, it just won't work. If the dealer uses their Porsche computer, it works once, then resets back to "0". If you have Sport Chrono, you can set this from additional menu items in PCM screens.
2) Side blinkers - 2009 and above.... this is already set this way from the factory.
3) Drop windows from key fob .... I could not get this to work.
4) Seat belt chime ..... I could get the chime to stop, but the airbag light stays on extra long and both annoyed and worried me so I set it all back. Someone noted the airbag performance is not affected as they set this and then had an accident and the airbag deployed.
This is all from my memory as I haven't played with my Durametric lately. Use the Google and find the coding information on all the forums... the turbo guys appear to use the tool the most from my reading.
Overall, I am very disappointed in Durametric for not being able to set convenience codes. I suspect this has nothing to do with their product, but Porsche blocking its (and the dealer's computer) use. If you have a pre-2009, then there appears to be more options to play with. None of this is a big deal, but I thought I would be able to have a bit of fun dicking around in that dark mysterious place in there.
Feel free to create a new thread called "2009 and beyond Durametric Coding". There is a need for this thread. But I suspect it will be a short one.

I think Rick was interested in options like what some newer BMW's have - for example most come with an integrated Sirius/XM module and you can pay the dealer to "turn it on"...then you can contact Sirius for a subscription.
On your door lock failure - did the dealer program both keys? programmable features like door locks will follow the key.
Too complex for Dealers and Owners Don't Care
So the tech called Porsche..... The dealer then said I need to set the locks from the PCM screens. Wha? That is when I realized that you have to have Sport Chrono to do this. I told the dealer these options didn't exist on my screen because I didn't have Sport Chrono... the service guys just stared at me. This stuff is becoming too complex for even the dealer to understand.
What surprised me, is that the 997.2 had been out for four years and I was the first dork to address this. I really believe the bulk of buyers today don't care about the technology... they just want to drive past their neighbor's homes and yell "Look at me! Look at me!".

Trending Topics
There is only one that I know of: Sport Chrono. If you didn't buy it from the factory, you can have it added by a dealer. They can't add the dash wart, but they "turn on" the software (or maybe they load it) and add a switch to your dash.
I have not read where someone turned it on or added it themselves.

I was hopong tpms was one of them as its standard in the us. Apprently my row car did not have the module. If it had the module, would it be simply coding to turn ipthis feature on?
Maybe...but you would have to have the transmitter/sensors in each wheel - do you have metal valve stems? That's a good sign that the wheels may have the sensors. Then you'ld have to have the other sensors in each wheel well and the wiring and programming to get the readouts to your dash. Based on that complexity I'd guess it would be difficult to impossible.
