wasps in engine compartment

wasps in engine compartment

was waxing my car and these wasps kept buzzing me, I noticed a few crawling out of engine vents...im heading out for a spirited drive and give them the heat treatment

no, the engine,not the interior,,,they were also buzzing my radiator grills....took it for a good hot drive and seeing now if they will return..

I'd recommend checking your engine compartment for nests. Not sure what wasps they were but could be mud daubers or maybe paper wasps. They could come back looking for their nest.

+1 on driving more often. That will discourage the wasps from finding your car an appealing home. (I used to work in pest control.)

Great question. Did something attract them? Does Porsche coolant does have a sweet odor? Perhaps this is a new diagnostic tool for waterpump problems
