pricing check - 06 C2S Cab

Howdy Guys,

Just wanted to get your thoughts on this 2006 C2S Cab with 30k miles. Has quite a few options and I was hoping to get your overall thoughts especially on pricing.

From the photos I also a Sport Steering Wheel and what looks like a Turbo shift ****. PASM was standard on the C4S. Are you sure it has full leather? The pictures aren't great, but it don't see stitching on the dash.

His asking price isn't far off. I would say its worth $43k.

I have the options list and it doesn't say anything about Nav. Also, this is a C2S. Kind of a bumber it doesn't have Sports Chrono. Doesn't look like the options list is that extensive. MSRP was 104k

Yes, full leather per the sticker. $3365 option.

I don't see the full leather dash. You should be able to see the stitching in that shot of the steering wheel. I finally found my 997 but in my hunt most people mis-advertised full leather.

I would say the Sport button is a must (comes with sport chrono package) for sharper throttle response.

Otherwise I think it's a really good deal-CA markets tend to be higher

Edit: the NAV is kind of a joke in these cars. I would hope it's missing to use it as a haggling argument and swap the whole PCM out for ~3k. Or try a Bluetooth adapter to use your phone for gps.

Wellll,

I just went to see it and took it for a ride. Here are my findings:

1. Car was in very good shape, not great. A few scratches here and there and under the bumper. A small amount of road rash on one of the rims. It drove great however.

2. It is Full Leather and has the carbon on the shifter and some of the trim pieces like the E-brake. No sport chrono. No Nav. Does have BOSE.

3. This is the 2nd owner, who has only put 6k miles on it. Selling due their kids getting bigger...seemed liked good people. Have the maintenance records which are minimal. They haven't had it in for any service since they bought it (including no oil change yet ) which was 1 year ago and 6k miles.

4. I'm just not sure I can fall in love with the silver. I like the dark colors with beige interior. I was hoping seeing the Silver in person would sway me, but I'm just not feeling it. I don't hate it - just kind of indifferent.

Anyway, that's where I'm at. They seemed very flexible on price. Think I'll sleep on it and see where I'm at tomorrow. I think I could get it for a good price, but I'd like to be In Love, not just In Like

Any thoughts are appreciated.

#1, #2, #3 = no big deal. #4 however means that the passion will wear out quickly. If this indifference is how you feel about the car on day 1, imagine how you will feel after driving it everyday for few years ! In other words you may regret the purchase because of #4. Goodluck and keep searching !

Agree with steve-o in the post above. Price isn't great, car isn't what you are really looking for (color to me is very important), and from what I've seen, supply of 997.1 Cab's is somewhat plentiful.

I say wait as well.

BTW, I got my car in No. Cal. as well and I remember supply in both No. and So. Cal. had the best selection so you are in some prime geography to find the right car.

I have my Black on Black 2007 up for sale. Has great options and is in really amazing condition. I am the third owner but have done all the servicing including getting the oil changed every 6 months. It had over 3k less miles than the one listed here and has a full bumper to bumper warranty until March 2016. There is even a xpel ultimate clear bra on the front. While it is 5k more than the one you have listed nothing needs doing to this car and you have piece of mind with the warranty.

Only reason I am looking to sell is because my wife finds the clutch too heavy so doesn't like driving the car and therefore it isn't getting used enough. The plan is once sold to start looking for an auto. I got everything done on this car because the plan was to keep it for a long time. I even have a PSE in a box which I bought and was going to install until my wife admitted she wasn't comfortable driving it.

Didn't you just get it? Winter pics? I think I remember that car in Chicago - when I was looking...

Time flies picked it up Feb 2012. Still not a longtime mind that's why there is so.much of the warranty left. As I said planned to keep it but just hot driving it enough as wife wont use it due to be manual.

was driving around Rockport this weekend was amazing
