Introduction and exciting news
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and fairly new to Porsche.
I have taken a long route to Porsche ownership. It started when I was convinced to sell my 2010 Camaro, which was a great car, and I loved, as a trade in for a 2015 Corvette. Long story short, GM Canada jerked me around and I got restless. I ended up test driving three Porsches... A 2008 Turbo cab, and 2 different 2010 911 4S cabs. I finally pulled the trigger today, canceled my Vette order, and put a deposit down on a Grey 911 cab. As soon as I drove this car I fell in love. Can't wait to pick it up on Tuesday!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. Picking the car up tomorrow night and getting pretty excited. I'm so looking forward to the drive home with the top down. I'm just hoping the weather cooperates.
Really the only thing I'm even beginning to think about changing on this car is the rims and they would make a great set for snows if I decide to drive this baby in the winter on nice days. Still haven't decided yet.
Looking forward to gaining as much knowledge from you guys as I can. This is my first German sports car so I'm sure there will be a bit of a learning curve. I wasn't bad with my Camaro but I've got a feeling this will be a bit different.

Be forewarned. When I got my 2011 S (about 8 weeks ago) I told myself I wouldn't do anything to the car. Within the first to weeks, I did clear corner lenses, window tint, and the gundo hack ! Haha

Clear corners are already on the car, or at least they should be by the time I pick her up. So forgive my inexperience but like I said, I'm new to Porsche. Anyone want to explain the "Gundo Hack"? I know it's an exhaust mod, but do you se significant gains with it?

Check out IPD plenums if you want a power mod. It's bolt on DIY at a reasonable cost.

Sounds good. Thanks for the advice. As for sound I'm pretty happy with where I am right now. That could all change pretty quickly though as I've learned with other cars I've owned.
