So i did something very bad and did a second track day; my addiction is chemical now.

I am a noob, I know this, but it was alot of fun and I love listening to the NA 911 sound.

Great stuff! Bumpy track!

The other drivers seem slow to give the wave-by.

nice. seems like you had to lay back sometimes behind slower cars. Safety first.
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, the track was wet and I think some were taking it slower to be safe. My instructor was preety awesome and was telling me to get closer to them so they would point me by!

It takes a few events to get used to the idea of rally getting close to eliminate the doubt that you want by. The beginner cars are focused on so many things that they may not be looking in the mirrors enough to notice you. You also have the mentality that if you're not right on their tailpipe that they're pulling away and therefore are faster than you.

I had a guy at My last DE in a cayman that refused to get out of my way for two laps. Final after the third or fourth flag to let me go he did. My next lap was 20 seconds faster. I wasn't on his but the whole time because he would mess up my corner entry and then gun it on every straight. I could gain ground because I had more power but coming from a compromised exit speed made very frustrating. The next session he lined up behind me.

You'll get more aggressive as you get more comfortable. I also have no problem approaching drivers afterwards and discussing it.

Yeah I figure as much. I mean I was letting up on gas constantly and taking apex's whereas some of them were not. So I think I could have passed them earlier. But it's fine; when I can tell i'm not going to get a quick point I just back off and give distance and hit the corners hard for practice.
