I will be ordering a 997 soon and want to know peoples opinions on options and colors. Right now I am thinking of getting it in arctic silver with black interior. I want to get the aerokit and sport chrono. On the interior read guages and seat belts with sport seats. I'm not sure what rims to get, let me know what's your favorite. Let me know what you guys think of this setup and if i'm missing any important options, oh an HIDs.

 

I think you cant go wrong whatever options you choose just that its gonna get pricey. Well you chose the 997 so you made the most important option of them all

 

get the thicker steering wheel option

 

It is hard to go wrong. Be aware, the aerokit will really make the front end low and it might be hard to enter and exit a lot of places where the approach angle is steep.

You might also want to look at aftermarket kits. The Porsche wing is really big compared to others. Again, it is about what you like.

Pass on the multifunction wheel. All it does is volume/mute and changes screens on the PCM system. Doesn't even change tracks or allow scrolling on the screen. Total waste for $800. Also, you post says that you are getting a 997 but not an S. If the choice is 997 with aerokit or 997S without... I would get the S. The factory aerokit has an ugly rear wing. It's huge and looks very Subaru in person.
