I have carrera red interior full leather and all I get is compliment after compliments. At car gatherings, lots of people compliments the interior. Do it and you won't regret it!!!
^^^^This has been my experience as well. I put in some OEM black floor mats to break it up some and it worked perfectly. I was worried when I was buying that "what if i don't love the interior...." I absolutely love it and would consider it on my next car as well. With regards to cleaning etc... I spend not a minute more on this color than on cars I've had with black interior.
With regards to: "1. You don't have any doubts about it and you don't have to ask for anyone's feedback. "
My original question on this thread was an inquiry about how well the red leather holds up and if it stains, etc. I was not asking your opinion about if I would like red or get tired of it.
I just don't want to get red if it is going to be impossible to maintain. I have heard for instance that white leather stains easily with blue jeans.
Thanks to all that replied.
EZ Cowboy and take a deep breath.
My apologies. English is my 2nd language and as an Analyst, I tend to read between the lines. I even get accused of reading "between, above, below and behind" the lines.
In your original post above, in addition to the maintenance of the interior, you also mentioned that you had considered "resale value." And, if I could count, that would be 2 items. Were you not surprised that, in addition to me, some gave you feedback about your "red" being rare and that might affect the resale towards the positive. Feedback are based on what people type in and what they read --- and misunderstandings do occur.
Some of us bought cars WITHOUT even thinking about anything --- and we are just sharing our experience.
Yes, you intended to ask just the "red interior". Yes, I was wrong 1) getting the impression that you intended to strictly ask about maintenance, 2) thinking you had 2 or more issues, 3) resale was not an issue, 4) if you like red, 5) if you get tired of it,.......
Perhaps, next time, you should post...
"Is red interior hard to maintain? I just don't want to get red if it is going to be impossible to maintain. I have heard for instance that white leather stains easily with blue jeans. I am inquiring strictly about maintenance and nothing else (no feedback if I would get compliments, if I would have issues sourcing parts, no feedback about Aston Martins, how to tone-down red, if my friends would like it, no feedback about where to buy cleaning products, what product is better, etc.) "
Again, my apologies. We'll watch out for clarity next time around and provide NO INPUT as applicable -- or ever again.
Good luck to you!

I didn't have a full red interior, but I did at one time have a BMW Z3 when I lived in Stuttgart with a red/black interior. Absolutely loved it and got nothing but compliments on it. Maintenance was no issue. I say go for it.
i think red interior looks amazing; in fact alot of the custom p-car interior colors are pretty stunning imo. maintence i dont think is too much more then any other color.
I think red interior looks great on black and white cars. I wished mine was anything but black at this point. It gets boring quick. I have a lot of CF pieces in my 997 but it's hardly noticeable with black interior.
Love my full carrera red leather interior........one of the reason i bought it.
Striking interior! Really love the leather faceplates on the PCM center console stack. Very rare to see that, along with the leather air vents and door handle spears. Nice!
