Re-enabling PASM via PIWIS...PASM not detected

Hey guys,

My car is basically back to stock to sell, and the final bit of it is enabling PASM via PIWIS. I took it to my shop and we playing around with PIWIS and coded the whole car back to spec, except PASM. PASM is indeed connected, but PIWIS is not recognizing it. Any suggestions?

I have the 997 body control module 997.618.260.04 which is not in, but it seems like this is the immobilizer (unrelated to PASM). But if anyone knows anything, please chime in!

I know that PASM will often not show up immediately after the battery has been disconnected and reconnected. After a short drive it will normally re-appear. This has happened in my car and caused me to turn around and go back to the dealer... who told me it is normal... and I've seen that confirmed in other posts here as well.

It's not clear from your post if you are saying that PASM is still missing after driving around a bit, or if it was just showing as missing while still sitting in the shop.

Thanks, it's true that the battery was disconnected, and PASM was re-installed during that time. I had KWv3 coilovers on prior to that, so I disabled PASM via PIWIS. Now, when I went back to re-enable PASM with PIWIS, PIWIS was not able to detect that PASM was installed. I've driven it around a few miles so we'll see if that makes a difference in the next few days when I try to enable PASM again.

Check the PASM fuse, I remember it had to be removed in order to turn off PASM completely
