Im in a f&r plate state, but sometimes run no front, or tow hook setup.Im not running any frames at the moment.

I have a slate grey 4S. I see some cars with dealer frames, but im not a fan of promoting dealers, and the materials are typically plastic and tacky. Some say PORSCHE in caps...a bit redundant, like our BMW friends plate frames.

My wheels are body colored sport wheels.

Some frames will cover tabs/tags in lower corners covering serial numbers giving the black and blue PC to meet and greet.

Thanks for weighing in.

PB.
No frame. Especially not a dealer frame, unless the dealer wanted to pay me on a monthly basis, then I may consider it. They distract from the car. Actually getting a customized license plate just for a color that does not clash with your is a good idea. I feel bad for people that live in states that require front plates. They are just so ugly.

They look great and fit nicely under the front bumper so no holes needed in the bumper face.

How do you have your front license plate installed?

I have the brackets from Skene Design up front. They allow you to screw into the small upper lip of the lower center grill

I will only use a frame if I can make sure I wont hear the rattles. Which are rather annoying.

Hearing that rattles makes me feel like I am in a cheap car.

Porsche seems to veer from badge-light to badge-heavy (see the 991) and my wife's car didn't say "911" anywhere on it, so I bought a frame that simply said "911" in matte black. Looks awesome on her black Carrera S cab. She's at work otherwise I would post a pic.

I went with the silver "Porsche" frame. No redundancies since mine is a 997.2 (no badging anywhere that says "Porsche". Just "Carrera S"

I bought this for my 996 in 2005 moved it to the 997.2 C2S three and a half years ago. Smple, clean design with brushed finish that compliments Carrera S rear badge.

I love license frames if done in a subtle classy style.

I have the real carbon fiber OEM frames from Porsche on my car, front and back. The real carbon fiber is really pricey compared to the "carbon look", but well worth it IMHO.

I have the one that has the "911" logo. Since "911" is nowhere else to be found on the car, it gives the car the badge it deserves.

I use a simple clear cover black frame from weathertech. Keeps the plate clean and looks nice and simple
