Non Bose Stereo Issue

Really weird. Everything is perfect on day - start the car the next day and notice that is sounds like the driver side sub is blown... really weird considering I have done nothing to blow it - and it worked the day earlier. Later in the day - neither subs are working. After another stop - sounds like they are blown again.

They are now in the "not working at all" phase.

Could it be the PCM or an amp? Car is a non Bose 2007 Carrera cabriolet.

Don't think that non-Bose has a sub - which speakers stopped working?

Front doors - the lower, larger ones. Both sound like they are blown - but again, no idea how that would have happened overnight as they were working perfect prior.

Similar issue with Bose

I have the BOSE sys in mine. And I had the same thing happen to me. I was driving with the music up. turned car off went inside came back out started car up and it seemed like I lost all speakers but the one n the center of my dash. I pulled into a parking lot and spent 15 minutes fiddling with it. started the car 5-6 times nothing. Then I turned the vehicle off let it sit for a few minutes then started it up and it started working again. Not sure what was going on but car goes in to shop n a week and ill have them look at it while its there. If they find anything ill surely post it here for the forum. And I understand yours isn't a BOSE but its similar situation. In another thread with similar issues someone responded by possible over heating of amp. Could be not sure will keep you posted. Please do the same.
