Suspension Suggestions?

I did a bit of legal work for my mechanic and we decided to swap work. So I got some labor I need to use. I'm looking at beefing up my handling. Any suggestions on sway bars? Stiffer shocks? Engine mounts worth it? Trying to keep the part costs around $1k to $2k. Thanks!

stock suspension is amazing...if you want to upgrade for amazing track performance and decent street ride, i've decided its Ohlins R&T coilovers, Gt3 LCA, all solid suspension points, and corner balance.

That said, your budget is for 1-2k which is very low for quality suspension components...so maybe just get gt3 LCAs and add some neg. camber?

What parks said, but only per your budget. im a coil guy. The RSS engine mounts are very well made, and no noticeable vibration for me. per the above...your very close to your budget with maybe a few hundo to spare all in. Id spend the rest on S.S. Brake lines and Motul 600 brake fluid.

I installed stiffer anti-roll bars. They do reduce the roll when tracking hard and don't have a noticeable effect on every day use.

All good suggestions. I'd suggest Ohlins or KW, but those are definitely out of your budget. Take a look at our suspension parts here to see what you might be able to come up with that's within your budget based off of recommendations here. Might be something where you do a good spring and sway bar set up. Check out the VOGTLAND Sport Springs. PTParks recommended engine mounts, which is a great suggestion as well. The WEVO 997 SS Engine Mount is designed to offer more precise control of the drivetrain mass. Can read more about them at that link. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing!

I have the WEVO mounts in my '09. A little vibration at idle but no additional NVH while driving. Easy DIY project.

There's a set of Cargraphic (H&R) springs for $200 on the marketplace; I'd grab them if my finances weren't quite so tight at the moment:

I'd say springs, sway bars, semi-solid engine mounts, 7/15mm spacers, and a good alignment and you should be handling better and well within your budget!
