Another Carseat thread

So I've searched and haven't seen any recent carseat threads. I was using a Graco Comfortsport and that fit great, but only fits kids up to 40 pounds. I got a diono, but that surprisingly didn't fit very well.

I know in the past a few recaros fit, but those have all been discontinued. No confirmed fitment on their successors.

What are you guys using and what is the feedback?

Thanks!

This looks very useful. Does it stay sturdily when the child is seated on it? And when not seated, is it too light that it flies out of place during turning / braking?

Thx.

As much as I didn't want to at the time - I ended up with the Porsche seat. I tried a few recommendations from the board at the time and none of them were a great fit.

As you can expect the Porsche one fits like a glove. My son now weighs 65 lbs and it still works great.

I bought mine from Suncoast online which was a better deal than my local dealer.

Yes, it stays fine when my son sits in it. It has the clips that the seatbelt goes through, which helps it stay in place.

It does stay in place during spirited driving when my son is not in the car.

You just can't beat it for the price.

How old is your kid? And are you looking for front or rear? Front facing or rear facing?

I have the britax roundabout G4.1 convertible for my 19 months old. It fits like a glover (but rear car seat must be removed). I also have the top rear latched to the car.
