Do not want to seem argumentative. The thread is about gas mileage. I reported to OP what I got at 60 in 6th (and under other conditions) since this is one benchmark figure for comparison. I added that I do not normally drive at 60 mph in sixth. When doing so for the purpose of computing this figure I have no sense that the motor is feeling any stress maintaining this steady speed on level ground. I however am much happier at 3200+ rpm in 5th/ 6th and this indeed is where my car seems to want to be. This blissful state of rapport between man and machine is considered speeding in NYS and that creates stress of a different sort. It is not at all kind on the wallet. Peace out Pete. Be careful out there

did you check your tire pressures? i suspect the rears may be a tad too low.

Coils and plugs been changed 2 months ago at the dealership.

Only squeezed 300km (185miles) out of my full tank of oct.94.

Isnt it anormally low ?

Mileage is 50/50 city/highway with a hint of spirited driving. No track

I second that emotion. I average just under 12 mpg around town. Because I live 1.5 miles from my office, it really doesn't matter much. It's ALL spirited driving.

same here, I rarely check mine & I live like 2 miles from work. When it's low, just fill it up.
