997.2s need exhaust upgrade for street?

Just bought a 2009 997S cabriolet for a daily street driver.
I want to upgrade by adding one of the many center muffler X pipe options or a reasonable priced system like Agency power.

I would like to gain a little sound and performance but nothing to loud.
Fab Speed
Shark works
Billy Boat is the least expensive by far at under $580.00.
Agency full systems are starting at $1350

Opinions or anyone with used parts for sale would be appreciated.
Thanks

Congrats on the new car. May I suggest taking a look at this:

The sound on the video is very accurate

Best quality German exhaust out there imho You could install without a bypass and it will give you a significant improvement in sound tone and volume. If you add a bypass then it will get even more dB and aggressiveness.

Let me know if you need any additional info. There are quite a few members who've got FVD / M&M setups.

Sounds like a perfect candidate for an x pipe/gundo combo. You save money by keeping the stock mufflers, but gain sound and free up the breathing with the x pipe and gundo hack. If you go with a new exhaust and x pipe with 100 cel cats or cat delete, it'll be loud. Then again "loud" means different things to different people.

There is a Tubi exhaust for sale in Rennlist. It's a full Tubi for an excellent price.

Some nice deals on used exhaust options from members on this site.
It's just how much do I want to spend.
From the Gundo hack to a full cat back?
I'm sure I would be happy with a few of the choices, all I need is a better sound with out any of the drone issues.
A little on the louder side would be fine as long as no annoying drone on the free way.
The only reason i would pay for a whole system is if you do get a noticeable HP increase.
The question I have is if the center muffler delete/bypass pipes X or cross over cause the drone issue with stock mufflers how do the cat back systems deal with it since they replace the center muffler also and have less baffling?

Adding X-pipes to stock mufflers is a waste imo. Slight improvement but not worth the cost. All three stock mufflers need to go in one form or another to get real results.

I am having my local muffler shop do the 2" Gundo Hack today, see how that sounds to me first.
at $300 it leaves money for other items.
Maybe add a center muffler bypass to this later?
Shark works, Fab speed , Billy Boat?

The used options off this site seem to have all been sold.

If I ponied up for a full system I think I would have gone with the FVD full PDK sport system, Ronda was a great help on the phone.

I may have misunderstood or there's a type on your post regarding the price of the Billy Boat X-Pipe since you state it's $580 and on their site it lists for $764.50.

Also while on this subject what is the difference, besides the price, between the BB X-Pipe and the Sharkwerks?

If you call direct you sometimes get a better price, I just had my muffler shop do the 2" Gundo hack today and it sounds better but far from to loud so I will be doing a center muffler bypass also.
Sharkworks and BB both cross over and Fabspeed and car graphic are X pipes.
Fabspeed has an opening between and car graphic has open or closed.
$580. To $1100. Is the price range.
Lots of debates on what gains are made if any with each design.

I can offer anything you need! Our center muffler bypass x-pipe like Tomp said DOES have a talking window to increase exhaust scavenging. Power gains are +12hp and +15ft/lbs while saving about 5 lbs from the rear of the vehicle. It would be a perfect upgrade for you, nothing too extreme but absolutely noticeable.
