I am thinking of selling my 2005 997S and possibly move up to a 360 or 430.

Seal gray, 7k miles, sport chrono, navi, sport seats, full leather, cd changer. Original MSRP $88,190.

What would be a fair retail price?

I just bought a 9500 mile car with similar options to what you're describing for $75,500 off ebay. Older gentleman owned it, and was looking at a 997S Cab, excellent condition, Artic/Stone Grey. Original msrp of over $90k. I'm sure you were hoping for more money, but that's what I paid.

I sold my 997 back to the dealer with 10,350 miles and they paid me $15k less than I paid for it when it was new. You might be able to do a little better, but a lot of people may get nervous buying a used car for that much money from a private party. The dealer can resell it as a certified pre-owned (no accidents).

Good luck.

post some pix and put it on the for sale section, you are more likely to get more attention there.

Out here in your area you could private party retail that car for about 83K if you have the time. If not PM me I know a dealer that pays top dollar (for a dealer) nearby where you live. I bet he would probably go about 80K. The ebay car was sold in a different market, the market here is still very strong.

Good Luck.
