My last 997 was black. A clean perfect black car is tops but keeping that way is really hard. I had a very expensive detail done -





My current car is white, a lot easier to maintain.

 

Car looks great. Showing front rim makes a better photo than the tire tread.

It does look good when cleaned but not worth all the work put into it. I rather drive then clean. Had to clean it again a couple of days ago. It's at my brother in law house right now getting a good wax and detail.

I am part of the black 911 owner club. The problem is not black per se but that most of us, myself included, would not let any run-of-the-mill car wash touch a black 911.
In my case, since I do not like spending my entire life washing the car, I end often keeping the toy religiously in the garage, avoiding rain, and get fixated with keeping it clean in between "baths".
And, after swearing to never have another black car, I added a black RR Evoque Prestige with tan interiors, but it was too mean-looking to pass.

 

I agree! Black just gets too dirty too quickly, but it looks amazing when clean.

 

I love/hate black

 

Had so many black cars, it's now just a way of life.

 

How about a Turquiose Blue to contrast all these black beauties!!
