carrera4slakem is infamous around these parts
yellow calipers

A friend has a 997.1 S with the ceramic pccb brake system with the yellow calipers.

are the yellow calipers any different from the red S calipers?

Could you put real ceramic rotors and pads into a S model with red calipers?

Different size rotors - PCCB's are larger and the PCCP front calipers are 6 piston while the S red calipers are 4 piston...so I imagine they are not interchangeable.

I was typing out the same response. You can always convert to the PCCB system, but the parts aren't interchangable/mix and match.

Yes - front and rear rotors are different (350mm v. 330mm) and front calipers are 6 piston v. 4 piston.

Turbo red calipers are 6-piston, just like turbo yellow calipers. Turbo cars feature 350mm front rotors with steel brakes and 380mm front rotors with ceramic brakes.
