Cleared all faults from ECU and uploaded tuned file. Car is running great and seems back to "normal".

A tune file can make a difference in the car. Differently feel the difference. Maybe I should look for a turbo now!!

 

Is there any truth in the statement that an ECU can only be "flashed" so many times?

 

I hope not!! I couldn't say yes or no. Never heard of that through my trials.

Well that myth is wrong. I've flashed mine more than that. I've done it 3 times in a day. If instructions are followed by the programmer and how it should be done you will be fine.

I got errors because I didn't cycle the right way. One I got it done, all back to normal.
