GT3Tek lip for 997.1 installation ???

For those that installed the lip yourself, was it spot on with no difficulty? Since I don't have an extra hands to help me, I screwed in the ends first & pulled the lip up. Their video looks simple, just lay it against the bumper & remove the tape. Well mine wasn't that simple. I have to do some stretching like you would un-mount
a bicycle tire type of stretching. Could the poly shrinks a little when I use a portable heater to bend it back into shape like for 12 hrs? But other than that, it looks great. This is what it should look like out of the factory to begin with. IMO. I'm just going to leave it unpainted for now.

I'm happy with it so far even tho it's only been 24 hrs
It really changes the front & look lowered not like the Cayenne look. Installation was somewhat simple. I looked at a few lip for the 997.1 & I think this it's the best so far & its poly.(that was the deciding factor for me).

I've been thinking about installing one as well as I sold my Maxton Design lip. How much space do you lose between the front bumper and the ground after mounting this lip/splitter?

My car is stock height. I didn't measure it before I installed it, but it's about 7 inches from the bottom of the lip to the floor(from the middle). The corners is about 6 inches. The front look more complete. IMO

It's going to look like a pretzel when you receive it because they stuffed it in a tiny box. It came like that, semi gloss black. Since I don't have to worry about scraping with that height, I'm going to paint it this weekend.

No one is more pleased than I am Really looking forward to it.
Currently got a maxton design front lip on my car which I'll remove this week. It looks cool, it's raw but it takes up so much space under the car. With 30mm lowering springs, I end up with 10cm between the ground and my frontspoiler.
Probably 8-9cm with 2 people sitting in the car. Sweden loves speedbumps...

Once it's test-fitted, there's no signs of it being folded. I plasti-dipped mine before installation, and has taken the winter driving relatively well.

I have to heat mine up to get it back into shape. I guess the cold weather makes the folding part stiffen. I'm going to paint it body color so it would look more stock-ish.
