The other day I started hearing a banging sound coming from the rear seats of my 09 997.2 C2S. After a brief inspection, I found that the passenger side metal bracket holding the rear enclosure panel had broken in half. (See attached picture). Seems to be an easy fix however I'm completely flustered as to how this could have occurred. Since I'm the original owner and have never removed this panel, could this have been a result of extreme body flexing or improper service by my mechanic?
