nwGTS - I am glad you responded to this thread. I swung by the shop yesterday to test fit and we definetly needed both Left and Righgt Air Routing vents.

Saved me some time, thanks!

Not a cheap conversion!

I honestly prefer the GTS front bumber's look and shorter overhang over the GT3 front. Regarding the GT3 wing.... I would honestly love a GT3...finding the GTS to be so lovely only makes me desire more intensity, more performance, more focus. Hence I covet the GT3. Two barriers prevent me from getting a GT3. First, I'd have to come to grips with the required extra $50K! Lol.. Secondly, I'm afraid the GT3's wing would garner too much attention off the track. I'd feel too self-conscious everywhere I went. I don't think one could casually stroll up to a Starbucks in a GT3 without the type of attention I could not handle on a daily.

Also: screws for the smiley grille retaining frame, we never figured out which ones they were.
And: the front spoiler lip
We did not change the front wheel liners.

GOOD LUCK. Oh, and prepare for a lot of bumper scraping."

exactly.... the rad shrouds have to be the exact size/fit to match the bumper entrances themselves.

with all this said, the oem gts front end (while technically isn't that different then the standard 997.2 bumper) is the nicest looking one. if i could do it again i would have gone that route.

It is interesting the new 911R is basically a GT3 without the rear wing. I'm sure it's plenty stable at high speed. Looks awesome too!

Being a pedant I'd say it's a cross between a GT3 and GT3 RS. It's has the RS motor, hood and roof with the GT3 suspension, bumper covers and wheels. Great driver's car with bespoke diffuser and suspension programming. Yeah too bad it's going to be mostly a collectors car. We'll see some driven very much like the RS 4.0 is still driven by a lot of Owners.
