I have a 2011 911 Turbo S conv, and my natural brown leather needs to be replaced on my driver side seat. Not sure what to do, go aftermarket, dyi, buy OEM from Porshce? Any opinions and experience?

If it was me, and there is only one seat to be repaired, I would go OEM to match the style. Color will be off since it would be new but time would solve that. But saying that there are indies that do wonderful Porsche leather, at least from the pictures it looks wonderful.

 

FYI: the OEM leather will run you around $3,300 per seat and comes in 3 pieces. Headrest and side bolsters are 1 piece. Base is one piece and then the seat cushions. They are roughly $1k each piece and can be purchased separately. I am thinking of doing the same and just got the pricing info from suncoast.
