I had the soft tonic on my 4s and thought it was worth every penny. However, I wouldn't do just the tune alone without a high flow exhaust.

I've posted this comment on a parallel RL thread, but I've recently upgraded my exhaust hardware (FabSpeed Sport Headers & 200-Cell cats connected to my PSE) but I'm still on the stock ECU tune. I've got a 2010 C4S Cab, and I have been told that the ECU will remap itself given the new exhaust hardware, but I'd hate to leave any performance on the table. So my question is:

How much more performance should I expect to gain from an ECU flash, and would there be any significant difference between opting for the OEM "Sport" software (I don't have Sport Chrono) versus a 3rd party vendor like EVOMSit? Thanks to all for your input on this so I can truly optimize this awesome new hardware for my DD C4S Cab

Hello,
You had sent us the same question in verbatim via email except you had Softronic listed instead of the other vendor. Give me a call as it is easier to explain on the phone rather than back and forth in a forum or email.

To sum it up as far as gains goes your going to achieve the most from a quality flash. The 3.8 Daytona winning car we did produced 480BHP. The 3.4 Interseries were at 355 and the other 3.4 World Challenge 390. The mods consisted of variations on complete to partial exhaust systems, octane grades with software. No other mods were done to the cars. Now these are race cars yet it shows what is achievable, with the proper hardware and software combined.

Best,
Scott

Are you offering "Custom" tune that work with a particular set of h/w or is what you are offering a "one size fits all" OTS tune map file that is highly adaptive to various h/w being bolted-on ?

I like the fact that all can be upgraded thru a Laptop when you add parts or if you need to re-map it back to stock! You don't have to do the chore of pulling out your ECU and sending it in to be re-mapped and waiting for the time factor of getting it back to your vehicle! Softronics all the way!
