oil leak advise, help, short term loan?

My turn in the barrel. Wed night added 1/2 qt in driveway as earlier reading was down 2 bars. Car not run but in am fresh oil on ground just left of centerline of car on drivers side under rear of motor from area behind sump. Thought it was a spill but after driving car losing oil at faster rate, pool under car, guesstimate 1/2 qt in 2 days. Leak continues during and after driving.

Bottom of motor is dry. No oil on top around or under filler tube. Car runs well. No lights bells whistles or smoke.

As I drive I notice an unusual small deviation in temp gauge reading, slow oscillation up/down maybe 3-5 degree displacement. Not noticed this before. Temps appear normal. Very hot here In NY.

Is there an external connection to/from the OT gauge that may be leaking. Also note the oil pressure gauge is due replacement reading high but I have not gotten to that yet. Thinking but not sure that is unrelated. It would appear oil is pooling, leaking from top or side as there is no evidence of a leak I can see on bottom. The oil is clean and clear. 2006 S 43K miles.

As always I am appreciative of the Boards input. Ideas anyone?

Looking at this again I see that what I thought was oil is a red liquid, and coolant level is below minimum. Water pump related. I guess that's better and makes more sense in view of the location. Long weekend w/o a car. Could be worse. Cheers.

Jimatunes is infamous around these parts
I recommend you to contact a good car mechanic. Oil leakage is serious.
