Today, I took the plunge and wired my payment over to RUF Autocentre for the RUF body kit. They told me they only have one set of the rear deck/spoiler so I just closed my eyes and said ok.

That means that I will remove my TechArt front chin, the huge rear TechArt spoiler and the rear diffuser. What to do with them???

Several things though.

1. The rear spoiler is fixed. Doesn't go up and down. That makes it hard to justify the $6,000+ price tag.

2. The rear bumper looks nothing like the green RUF 997 at Essen. It looks exactly like the orange RUF RT12. But fortunately, it's made of high quality (their words, not mine ) fiberglass, so I can redo it to look like the Essen car if I like.

3. Front bumper is made of polyurethane so i guess that's ok.

I will post pics as soon as I installed them. I'm guessing maybe middle of January.

 

please do so... and how much you want for your Tech Art body kit???

 

Will post the price of old TechArt stuff once the Ruf pieces are installed.

Oh and, I forgot to mention that I also ordered a carbon fiber hood from SpeedArt.
