Get the aerokit and smile vent if that is what you really want. Who cares if someone says it looks ricey, its an OEM piece that could have been had as an option. That isn't ricey to me. Infact, I think someone before has mentioned that the aerokit was avail before the GT3 was even out. I plan on doing the same really soon, as I am not a huge fan of the front bumper on the 997.1. It isn't bad, but when there is an aerokit that is so damn sexy, why not? Ricey to me is throwing an ebay GT3 Cup size wing on a stock base Carrera. with stock rims and offsets and lowered 3 inches.

Bolts on do very little... I have many = plus headers and exhaust and tune and gt3 TB and Plenum etc Only way to get real extra power is boost the car whether SC or turbo kit.

For added aero nothing looks better then factory style look of the aero kit (by ghetty or oem etc)...

Only other option that i think looks great is aero nose and a ghetty Duck wing...

A 997 with no aero compared to an aero car there is NO comparison in looks.

Agree to an extent. I have grown up to love the shape of the 911 and the uniqueness and simplicity of the rear end and always hated the way the turbo bastardized the shape. I think my favorite look at this point is 911R. Or a 997 with a GT3 front. This is my goal. If I ever get to the point where a wing is desired I think it has to be the 997.2 GT3 wing (non Taco).

This is mine. The other pics were pulled from the internet to show as examples.

Yes. I meant to add the caveat of minus a rear wing or even duck tail.

I ended up added the GT3 front bumper, H&R springs and the 3rd radiator, I like the aggressive stance now. Tho it does scrape now, but I just replace the small plastic piece on the bottom every qtr or so.

you seriousley need side skirts & a rear bumper to balance out the look of the car.
