Offset Question 997

I have a 2006 911 Carrera S with rear 11x19 with 67 offset wheels. Can I and how would I mount newer 11x19 with a 51 offset on my car? Thanks, Craig

Probably have to try 'em on. They will stick out 16mm further which may just fill out your wheel wells nicely, but you should check for rubbing. If they stick out far enough to rub, nothing you can do about it short of rolling your fenders.

I have 67 offset rear wheels, lowered with 295's and a 15mm spacer which puts me at 52 and I have no rubbing issues.

Plug you current and planned wheel and tire setup into www.willtheyfit.com and it will give you a lot of info about how things will change. You can't look at just offset without also factoring in wheel width and tire size.

I have just done this on mine and the tyre does stick out 1 or 2 mm. I'm on stock suspension and running 305's and it doesn't rub. When i come to lower it I will definitely have to swap the tyres to 295's otherwise i'll have issues...

Looks good. However, offset by itself doesn't tell the whole story. Need to know wheel width too for an accurate comparison. Maybe you're the same 11" as the PO which is why you didn't mention it.

That is funny. Too low for roads around here, that won't clear shopping mall speed bump.
