997 Front Bumper Mod and Wingless - Picture Thread

Having just had my car modded with a conversion GT3 bumper, albeit OEM Aero Bumper with Rennline Vent (and equivalent), I wondered how many others there are who opt to not put a wing or duck tail on their 997?

My inspiration not only comes from the classic 911 and its beautiful form and lines, although the early RS did come with a duck tail.

However, in the modern and to a relative degree, my inspiration comes from the 991R. I love the lines and IMO this is not only a throwback to "Classic", but very clean.

I found a few on Facebook's "997 Enthusiasts" page, and I hope the owners will not object.

Modern Perfection - IMO

Mine

I love the clean look of a wingless 911. GT3, GT3 RS, and Turbo wings have their own appeal too. But that duck tail ruins a 911.

I added a rear diffuser that helps with aero but not a wing....

Added the werks1 CF piece. But I also have a tiny little wing as well

When I was searching Google last night I came across that one but at $3500 I took a pass on it. I do think it's remarkable and I'd love a version in FRP versus CF.

Its a super neat piece.... that said its way over priced, but can find them used sometimes. I bought mine from someone else and paid closer to 1200.00. The CF was insanely lite weight. Its a large piece but as light as a piece of cardboard.....
