997 - Carbon Fiber Raised wing is here!

www.FlyingDuckTail.com

You can mount this new carbon fiber wing to your 997 in minutes and it still allows the wing to go up! Yep, that's right the ONLY wing for your 997 that goes 'Flying!"

For your 997.1 or 997.2 and you have a choice of grill finish and wing finish!

Great design. If I had a stock decklid, I'd definitely be adding this.

I've asked on Facebook and I'd like to see what it looks like raised. Can you post pictures?

We will have complete images this week for all to see the tail in it's up position and the grill options.

Thank you for your interest!

Singer puts that type wing on their Porsche designs. I've always been a fan of that. Kinda of pricey for what it is though.

Without a clear actual pic of it on a car from different multiple angles this thread means nothing

Yes, but none of them have the spoiler in the raised position.

Since ducktails don't usually raise, I'd like to see wind tunnel smoke graphics with the wing raised to see how the turbulent the air becomes behind the car after hitting the lip of the spoiler. Sometimes we just go for a look and forget these cars were initially designed with function over form.

I think with this ducktail you disable the rear spoiler...i.e. Fixed wing option on Durametric.

Pretty sure it's named "flying" ducktail because the intent is that it raises with the spoiler, but I could be wrong.

All this speculation would be resolved if the "manufacturer" would either supply photos, data, or just plain ol' words to answer the questions posed in this thread.

All that is happening is doubt being put on the product and the manufacturer. I would be leaning to not buy based on this alone.
