2006 4S PASM Failure - next steps?

Looking for some advice from the forum here, please and thank you.

My 2006 9114S is fairly high mileage (136,000 km) but the engine and transmission are absolutely stellar and well maintained. Unfortunately, the roads here in Toronto are pretty awful and my suspension has taken a real beating over time. Last year I had the dreaded PASM failure (non battery related) and ended up replacing a bad, noisy and definitely shot front strut with an OEM one. Turned out to be a costly mistake. I still have the PASM failure and now am faced with (possibly) replacing the rest of the suspension with new or, if I can find it, used OEM parts.

Thoughts? The car really isn't worth enough to put a new KW system on it, but I'm afraid new OEM suspension will cost just as much, if not more.

Anyone replaced their OEM with an aftermarket and want to sell their PASM suspension components? Trackaddict here had his up for sale in April but I missed the boat and they are long gone.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?

Thank you in advance.

Bilstein Canada has the struts you're looking for...I ordered the heavy duty series for less than half from the dealer.

-Heavy Duty Series (BA5-B826-H0) W/PASM Rear (26-118260)
-Heavy Duty Series (VA3-D586-H0) W/PASM Front Left (35-135869)

Coupled with Eibach springs, it is a much tighter/firmer/comfortable ride...with a better stance of course

That's a good way to go or find a set of used Bilstein Damptronics or used OEM setup in the Marketplace here or on Rennlist.

Thanks Petza - Pcar416 (who is local) pointed out some pretty good prices direct from Bilstein, but if anybody has a used OEM setup, let me know!

I have a used set for sale that was taken off the car recently when I installed coilovers. And I guess today is your lucky day, because I am located in Toronto.

PM me and Ill provide more details.

Crazy! Looks like a handful of fun. Did you do the conversion?

It was actually converted in CA in the '80s. I bought it from a guy who ran out of time and desire to finish the project and he had bought it from the owner that had the conversion done. I bought it and shipped it straight to 928 Motorsports in WI for the supercharger work and some other upgrades, then I did all the interior, electrics, etc. Puts down 350 & 350 on the dyno.
