Hi I’m new to this
i have a 2006 911 cab that I’ve owned since new
anyone know how to fix this problem?

Unfortunately, your LCD is starting to fail. I don't know if there are places like Palo alto speedometer that can fix these like they do the other analog gauge or if you'll need to replace the cluster. If you end up wanting to go the replacement route, I have a spare black faced gauge cluster from a MT car I bought that I was going to use to keep my car on the road when sending mine off to RUF for a cluster update, but decided it was too expensive.
