997 Turbo II Wheel Fitment

Hey gang, hopefully someone can answer a few questions for me.

I have a 997.2 cab, and recently bought a set of Turbo II wheels – when I spoke to my local dealership, they informed me the offset was wrong and the wheels wouldn’t work on the car. Anyone have thoughts? What size tires are you running if you have the same setup? Any help is appreciated.

Here are the part numbers:

Front 997.362.157.02 – 8x11 ET57

Rear 997.362.163.02 – 11x19 ET51

Thanks,

Chris

Those sizes/offsets are for non-Turbo widebody cars (e.g. C4S).

Proper Turbo sized rims are:

Fronts 19x8.5 ET56
Rears 19x11 ET51

The standard 19” wheel size for a narrow body car is:

Fronts 19x8 ET57
Rears 19x11 ET67

Since many people (like myself) successfully run spacers on the wheels of their narrow body cars, the rims you purchased should be able to fit.

The rears will fit like the standard rims, but as if adding a 16mm spacer - so I’d stay with the 295/35 tire size in the rear.

The fronts are the same size, so no problem there. But you might want to consider adding a 7-10 mm spacer up front to balance the look. Just make sure they’re hubcentric with the proper bolt length - very important!

Overall, a nice upgrade and congrats.

Karl.
