Cost of 997.1 S with aero kit

Hello everyone. I’m going to look at an 06 yellow 997.1s, mint, 33k miles. I was wondering, although I love the car the price seems a bit high in my opinion. Does a factory aero kit add that much value? Thanks.

Porsche's come with so many different options..for example full leather is a very costly option & changes entire look of the car..bose, seat type etc..not enough info here...but basically youre looking low mid 40's

Agree, especially for brighter colors and that mileage. Service records and the PPI are key though.

I know we can’t play links here, or least I believe I read that somewhere. It is from CCS motors on LI.

Here is the description

2006 Porsche 911 / 997 Carrera S Coupe. This coupe is featured in ultra-rare factory Speed Yellow over black interior with yellow seatbelts. Also from the factory is the AERO KIT which is an extremely rare option to find factory installed. All original paint and no accidents. This C2S shows extremely well both inside and out and will surely please even the most discerning buyer.Additional Equipment342Heated Front Seats446Wheel Caps with Colored Crest482TPMSANBlack Standard LeatherP15Power Seat PackageX4Speed YellowX54Stainless Steel Exhaust PipesXAAAerokitXRR19"" Carrera Sport WheelXSYSeat Belts - Speed Yellow

This is what I’m going to look at in the next few hours

Checking the link, I see standard leather only, no sport chrono, no PSE. Its a pretty standard S aside from the aero kit. $38-$40 should be the number but a lack of the full leather option is a deal breaker for me. That car needs GT3 wheels too, which you can change later - we put them on my wife's C2S - perfect fit.

Find a cheaper one that is super clean, up to date on services and never had any paint work. I am looking and have been looking for a while. Need one in black or maybe white.

Here is one for $64.9k. 2007, red with 22k miles. Not into red, but would consider red with aero kit if it had a power kit for $60k or less. I saw red, aero with power kit go for $62k in one day. I called about it 2nd day it was on ebay around 6 months ago.

I come from a home audio community, and Bose sucks. They, like Monster cable, spend all their money on advertising, not on quality performance. Shame on Porsche.

Bose is great, in my opinion. Won't buy a car without it..perfect crisp sound without being Ghetto!

WTH does that have to do with 997.1s with an aero kit? I used to do crazy installs in my sports cars . . . class A McIntosh amps for mids and highs, McIntosh head units, scan speak drivers and old school Sound Stream Human Reigns or PPIs for subs. Could easily drop $10k to $20k in an install.

That said, Bose is fine for a sports car although I do have Burmester with the 991.2 and Bang & Olufsen in the DB.

Another factory aero kit car for mid $50k range even with 59k miles. That yellow car is priced right, but its yellow.

The thing is, it doesn't really matter that much what's in the car, at least for me. It'll only sound really good when you're sitting still with the engine off. with the amount of road noise and exhaust noise in a 911, you're gonna basically lose out on all the fidelity that a good stereo would provide. That's why these days I only care about connectivity options and less about audio quality above a certain point. The bose system is certainly above the point that I need in a car (because I'm rarely sitting still with the engine off in my car).
