997.1 awd lowering springs Question ??

Hi guys, I have a quick Question...

I just bought a 997.1 carrera 4S. I have a set of 997.1 C2 H&R lowering springs in stock (29188). I know H&R list a completly different part number for my car, but can it be fit on it? Is only the spring rate different?

best regards,

Sam

I think the springs are interchangeable between the S model (WB & NB) but not sure about the base model which I believe has a different suspension setup. It sits quiet a bit taller to begin with. I would check with H&R before putting any man hours into this.

I think the tip mounts are different between the AWD (Turbo, 4, 4S) and RWD cars. When I did my cargraphic Airlift kit on my .1 c24s the instructions showed 3 different kits for AWD, RWD, and the GT cars .I ended up making a used GT kit work on my C2S but was upgrading the rest if the suspension at the same time with RSS and Tarett bits. See the attached AirLift brochure.
