Time for new rotors and pads - recommendations?

2006 997.1 4S Cab. Daily driver, never been on a track. Just an aggressive street driver. Looking for great performance, slotted rotors, and pads that give off less brake dust. Don't want to break the bank, but don't want to go really low end. Recommendations from the experts here? Thanks in advance.

If the 4S and 2S use the same setup with the Big Red calipers, I have a great set of lightly used slotted DBA rear rotors with all 4 wheels of Hawk HPS pads I had on my 05 997.1 I'd sell at a reasonable price (like 1/2 new). Just buy the matching front set from Ken at www.knsbrakes.com and you'll be good to go with a great setup at a great price.

I'll be back home tonight and can provide thickness measurements if you're interested.

Thanks so much for the offer. However, I'm going to source everything new and local. Those are the brake pads my guy is quoting, along with DBA T3 4000 series rotors.

If you're going with all new, use the Hawk Ceramics in the yellow box instead of the HPS. Much less dust and no difference in initial bite, modulation feel, or stopping power.

Part # is on the box in this photo as is the rear rotor #. You'll need a different # for the front for their 1-pice rotor as these were replacement rings only for their 2-piece fronts with aluminum hats.

Also, buy new pad wear sensors and the factory pad dampeners for the rears with the vibration absorbing pad connected to the metal prongs. You'll need 4 28mm and 4 30mm ones to do the rears. The fronts use a different setup and come as part of the pad set.
