Thanks...Sports Plus probably would not be so great on the street.

With the Cobb Sport tune the regular mode is perfect for the street, for me. The sport is great for spirited driving and Sport Plus still track dedicated.

The way I use the PDK is sport mode in auto until the oil is warmed up. Then sport plus in manual mode all the time. Only difference between sport and sport plus is that the sport plus shifts are quicker. Sport plus in auto mode is for track use only since it holds the gears to redline.

Sounds like you're talking about auto mode only. I really don't know where it shifts in sport/auto mode but I know that it will hold the gears to redline in sport plus/auto which is a configuration I never use for street driving. As I said above, sport plus/manual mode is getting the most out of the PDK for off the track driving imo. You control the shift points - not a computer - and the shifts are quicker than in sport mode, never mind in normal mode without sport chrono. I wouldn't own a PDK 911 without sport chrono.
