997.2 damaged driver side door

Hello...I damaged driver side door beyond repair in early October 2018 (Carrera Coupe MY09)....since then the door is on back order from a Porsche dealer, who actually can not even provide an ETA!
Is this typical for a Porsche???

You might try eBay, LA Dismantlers, or DC Automotive to source a salvage one
