Took a ride with Red Devil today and it was not that bad and a little tough to clearly reproduce..but realized afterwards that when someone not sitting in passenger seat it gets worse.....and clanking is on front passenger side...???

I was having a problem with a loud sound coming from the right front area, especially when turing right onto a sloped driveway. Took my dealer 2 days to find the source: somethign like a diagonal body brace was loose and needed to be torqued.

Hi Doc:

There's a TSB that might help: # is 4075, dated 09.13.05, titled "Noises from around front spring struts while driving". Ask the dealer to pull it for you.

Good luck!

If the vehicle is lowered I would look at the spring. H&R has a tough rubber sleeve that should be strategically placed in order to keep the spring from rubbing on itself. Even if it's not lowered and has stock springs look at the spring closely and check to see if there is any paint that has been rubbed off in between the coils. Good luck.
