I bought a wrecked 991 Turbo S. Swap PCCB brakes & wheels on 997?

Hey guys!

I have a 2011 997.2 GT3 (non-RS) and was wondering about some fitment questions.

I purchased a wrecked 2016 991 Turbo S to play around with and was wondering if anyone knows if the Wheels/Brakes can swap to my 997.2?

Anything is possible, but you'd likely have to move the front wheel carriers from the 991 to the 997 and I'm not sure they'll fit. The reason is the calipers of the newer cars mount with bolts in a different orientation than the older cars - radially vs axiallly. 997 calipers are mounted to the carrier with bolts in from the side and 991 calipers are mounted to the carrier with bolts in through the top.

I did a conversion like this on my Cayenne Turbo S with PCCBs from a 958 onto my 957. It was a lot of work and measuring and the only place I could find to make me a custom caliper mounting adapter was Epytec in Germany, and they won't do business with US customers or ship to the US so I had to have a friend in Germany process the order and receive the shipment, then he shipped them to me.

Lots of details are in my build thread. Search for Misha Widebody Cayenne Turbo S Build and you should be able to find it.
