It is a pretty popular combo. I have seen several C2's in that color.

Hey Trovan....... did you see Watt's Z06 for sale here? Ever driven one of those? They are pretty spectacular............ very smooth and comfortable ride and 500+ horsepower on tap. The LS7 engine snarls when you punch it.......

They're very good cars. I've never owned a non-German car (1 Merc, 1 BMW, 3 Audis, 1 Porsche), but there are a few that I would consider and the Corvette is near the top of that list. Over at Corvetteforums, the participating dealers also have scanned and posted paperwork showing that GM has approved production for the Corvette SS..... it will be over 600 horsepower.

I looked at a black/sand beige C4S, one of the launch cars (PAG code 762). I think that the MSRP was $102,800. Options list was fairly extensive...

I decided on Arctic Silver over black full leather. I'm glad that I didn't choose the black car - too much of a pain to maintain. One black car (my Bimmer) is enough for me.

Last time I checked (early February) there were 64 of the black/sand beige launch C4S cars still on the ground in the US. I wondered when they were going to start dealing on them. It would be a great catch if you could get one for $95k...

Good luck!
